Labor Day

Next Monday is Labor Day. According to the US Department of Labor, Labor Day was first celebrated on September 5, 1882, in New York City. The holiday is “a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country,” and “is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers.”

Take a moment to acknowledge and thank your champions of workplace safety and the people who go the distance to keep workers safe!
